I feel blessed to have Donna as my beautiful Big Sis. She could light up a room with her cheeky smile, and make anyone smile with her wicked dry sense of humour Even whilst unwell she would still have a grin and a nice word to say. My sis always put others first. She saw the best in everyone.
I will forever miss you Donna. Until we meet again Love Bryan xx

Everyone who met Donna was very fond of her. She was always so happy and saw the best in everyone. Donna was always cracking a joke and mischievously thinking up her next one liner! She was always ready to tell you if she thought you were been 'cheeky'.

Donna, Sharon and I were bridesmaids together a few times in the 70s and 80s...I have fond memories of these times with my cousins and the numerous posh frocks we had in those days.

Some other happy memories of times spent with Donna were at Grandma and Grandads in Farndon Ave...as children we had some great times there...especially at Christmas...always manic because there was so many of us, but fun times for the cousins to get together. (Especially when we were plunged into darkness when the leccy went off and someone had to put 50p in the meter!)

We had a few trips to Blackpool with Grandma and Grandad...I can see us cousins now all piling into Grandads mini bus going off to see the lights! Grandma dishing out boiled sweets! Very exciting for us at a young age setting off on an adventure to the golden mile!

Everytime I saw Donna she wanted to talk about the guinipigs she gave us when we were about 8 years old. They rapidly multiplied and we ended up being over run with the dam things! Donna thought this was hilarious and we always had a laugh about them every time we saw each other.

My most exciting trip out with Donna was when we went to see Adam Ant in the Prince Charming tour in 1982. I don't know how on earth Aunty Linda wangled it but we met Adam after the show and got autographs and a picture with him. As a couple of teenagers this was so exciting for Donna and I although I was very jealous that Donna got a kiss and I didn't! (Aunty Linda recalls I didn't hide my jealousy very well!) Donna and I had a great night and I will treasure this special memory.

I take comfort from the fact that Donna had a loving and devoted family by her side her whole life. I will miss Donna and treasure my memories of her forever.

Donna my memories of you are all happy, what a joyful kind person you were, always in a good mood with never a bad word to say about anyone. A great sense of humour you always made me smile. You were a beautiful person and will be sadly missed by many I am sure. May you rest in peace. Love Sue.

I am writing this on behalf of the Queen Fan Club, and Queen fans everywhere. Donna was "One of us" in her love for Queen, and I often met her at events - a funny, lovely person. She will be missed. In the words of a Queen song.... Only The Good Die Young. RIP Donna. Go party with Freddie!

My memory of Donna

Well what can I say about Donna,
She's beautiful, clever, always smiling, trying to make others happy & an inspiration to us all. Her cheeky grin made you want to melt. We as a family always enjoyed having Donna around at ours just seeing her smiling, knowing she was having a good time. Martin always enjoyed his outgoings at the theatre, having a sing along, a laugh, talking about her favourite band Queen and about their pet dogs. The picture we have added is how we will always remember Donna, Happy!

All our love.
